Nathan Jones

Nathan Jones is a father, teacher and writer who lives in Melbourne, Victoria. If You’re Cast on Thin Ice is his first novel. He grew up where this story is set, in Bangalow and Byron Bay, N.S.W. He has previously written and illustrated a children’s picture book, Zed the Vegetarian Zombie, published through Woodslane Press, Sydney, in 2016.

When he isn’t writing, he can be found spending time with his family, listening to records, or gardening. Much of his debut novel was inspired by his own childhood. He’ll leave it up to you to guess which parts. But yes, he did once get in trouble at school for counterfeiting money.
